I've never had a problem.. I swallow my dip, and use a plastic bottle for chew. I really don't know hunting without chewing or dipping, so I've never had a problem.

Yup, bottle or over the side. My brother had a forn horn come in on him with mint Skoal, it ended up circling around downwind and coming right underneath the stand to get a whiff.

I have been hunting for 25 years and dipping Skoal about that long. I hunt to enjoy it and it is a pain to go without my snuff. I can't think of a time I killed a deer without a dip.

Oh yea I always dip on stand, cant go without it. Copenhagen Black seems to treat me well. Gotta spit in a bottle though as im afraid to spit on the ground, wouldnt deer possibly be spooked by a foreign smell such as dip?
