Default arrow spin

I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. If the arrow is spinning in flight will that effect how a broadhead penetrates? Would'nt a broadhead penetrate better, and by that I mean straighter if the arrow was'nt spinng?

Hmmm it seams to me that a spinning broad head is what you would want to penetrate. Correct me if i'm wrong but wouldn't it have a "drill bit" type action and make a nice hole into the flesh of your target?

I actually wondered the same thing. It would seem that a spinning broadhead with straight blades would slow down when it penetrates more than if it weren't spinning. I guess for a test you could drop a broadhead straight into a glass of water or something and then try spinning as you drop it. I'd think the straight flat blades would be slower and have less penetration while rotating.

millions of critters have been killed with arrows that spin--I don't think it's a big problem and really nothing to worry about

They pass thru while spinning. I need a bigger deer I guess to find out.

An arrow that's spinning morepenetrates better than one thats not, because there is more K.E. behind the tighter spinning one.because the weight is more centered, or something like that.
