MOR channel and Dish Network

MOR channel and Dish Network
I just got off the phone with Michael Klahr, Director of Programming/Supervising producer, at MOR channel about Dish Network dropping MOR. He is doing his best to get MOR back on Dish. MOR'S parent company filed for bankruptcy, but he said itwill have no effect on MOR. Dish is trying to get more money out of MOR. He told me that Dish lost over 60,000 subscribers to Direct TV when it was cancelled on Dish. He said Dish is being more co-operative now. He speculates maybe by November it may return to Dish. He told Dish that they will lose more subscrbers if they don't do it faster than that because hunting season is about here. I know many of you switched to Direct TV. Mike was a pleasure to talk to and a hunter and guide in Colorado. He told me he was taking people from PSE on a hunt next week. He told me to send an email to "Charlie Chat" channel 100. I think those of us who still have Dish should do this and voice our opinion. If it doesn't happen soon, I will be switching.

RE: MOR channel and Dish Network
Honestly, I'm beginning to not even care anymore. I missed a few of the shows at first, but after a few weeks I've forgotten about half of them.
Would I have watched them if it was still on? Absolutely.
Am I going to bother switching providers just to get MOR again? Probably not.
There's two sides to every story, and so far we've only heard MOR's tale of the big bad satellite provider who did this to them. I'm sure Dish didn't just decide one day to turn off all of TMG's channels for no good reason.
Give it a few years and all these shows will be online where you'll be able to watch them any time of day or night without having to worry about which satellite clique you're in.
Viva teh intarweb!
