Never bow hunted Turkey.. Only ever went turkey hunting 1 time. Took 3 hens (legal, at request of land-owner) with 1 shot from a 12Ga.

I don't doubt what you guys say where YOU hunt. I don't hunt, there.

That's a good track record, Don. Kudos.

Hell I agree with it being easier to kill deer than turkeys with a bow.....lol. I never hunted so hard in my life as I did for the one I took this Spring. Let's see how my first 25 deer hunts go, this fall, comparatively.

Good luck with the mulies and elk.

So what would you guys rather use....

Gilotine to the head?
BH to the vitals?

I'm watching a huge flock of turkeys right near my one hunting spot and just trying to decide which would be easier. I'm going for whatever walks by...hen, jake, and gobbler.
Thanks guys

Ihave bowhunted 7 spring seasons & shot 2 missed 3 blanked 2.
Tough Bowhunting but great fun. I feel I could have tagged out every season with a shotgun.
I use a 3 blade Rocky Mountain Broadhead & my regular biggame setup.
If I go any more I will shoot a string tracker like I do on Hogs. Works great for finding.

I have been bowhunting them for the last 10 years and can't remember a season not getting at least one in the spring and one in the fall. Many times I have taken 2 in the spring. They are difficult to get drawed on for sure. ( no blind ) I just can't stand hunting out of a blind.
