Default RE: Use of Scents

I use some white acorn and fresh earth cover scents wafers. The only other scent I use is during the rut, when I sometimes use doe estrous urine.

One time I had a buck come back about 15 minutes after I spooked him (a cord on my camo jacket caught on a screw in my stand and when I stood up to get a shot, it yanked free and the plastic on the end clanged against a hollow tube) to try to find the doe he smelled. Another time, I had a buck pawing the ground and pacing back and forth for a good 15 to 20 minutes, even though I had spooked the does he was with (moving to get a better shot while in sight of a doe I couldn't see). He finally decided not to risk it, but I think the scent really held him.
