Advice
For about the last month, at least, I've been shooting 2-3 times a day. it seems with each passing day my shooting gets worse. About 3 days ago, I was groupin arrows side by side at 20 yards, about an 1/2 an inch to an inch at 30, and about 1 1/2-2 inches at 40. Now I'm shooting everywhere at 30 and 40 but still dead on at 20. I haven't changed my set up, I'm not doing anything different, I haven't bumped my sights becausemy bow is secluded away from everyone and everythingand I don't even shoot 20 yards. I always practice at 30 and 40 and now I can't shoot for sh*t. Advice?

Target panic? Go back to basics.
Perhaps practice at 50 yards, concentrate and then when you sneak up to 40 and 30 it'll appear easier.
Relax, you know you can do it, your probably mentally taking yourself out before you even shoot.

Yep, your bow is fine. It is all in your head. I'm a firm believer that archery is 90% mental. Just clear your head, remind yourself to relax and have fun. When you start getting tired, quit for the day and do it again tomorrow. It will come back. Repetition, clear your head, float, and sqeeze. Chances are your thinking of 'getting worse' instead of the current shot. Relax, have fun, and it will come back.

From what it sounds like is that you are getting target panic. It seams to happen when you are shooting a lot. I have heard that the best way to overcome this is to stand a few feet in front of a large target. Close your eyes and visualize the shot. Shoot at the target without looking and do this about 20 arrows a day....this way and you will stop punching your release and start squeezing it again.

You can psych yourself out so fast if you think too much..I have found that with many things. If I am at work and start worrying about doing something wrong..it happens. If I just go with the flow and take my time and not get in a rush, everything goes as planned.. When I am working out at the gym and am doind heavy sets...I can hit a wall as soon as I start thinking about the actually weight I am trying to put up..even though I did the same weight the week before. So many things are just a mental game. Same goes for bowhunting/target practice. Just gotta take your time and not get worked up
