I didnt see this posted anywhere in the rules.
What is the captains function please?

I'm not sure, but in your case, you're team should be picking a Team Queen....

team captians make sure everyone gets checked in and knows the rules...

They also represent the team in any new "rule changes" or disputes over entries.
