Hunting next to State Park?

Hunting next to State Park?
I hunt with permission on one of the local farmers land in northwestern NC. His land is connected with State Park land. I was wondering if there is some kind of distance i need to keep from the state park land or if it was ok to hunt there as long as I don't cross over onto the park? BTW, The park rangers are good about signing the park land so it is obvious were the line is.

WEll, it depends.[&:] If you make a good shot with a bow a deer isn't going beyond 75-100. That should be a safe distance.

No problem hunting right on the line. If you shoot one make a good shoot and go and retrieve him. If it's a poor shot and he's not dead, then you would have to call them to bring your weapon in the park to finish the kill. However, I don't know too many parks in NC where hunting isn't allowed. NC is a hunter friendly state.

Thanks fellas for your advice. I think I am going to go today and back my treestand off the park property line. The least amount I have to deal with the park ranger the better. Not that I have anything agianst park rangers, its just that i don't want to give them a reason to keep track of my hunty hole.
