Default Bifocals Help

I have now reached the point in life where "BIFOCAL" are a requirement of every day life. But I can not focus on my sight pins usingmy peep site or can not focus on the peep site if I can see the pins. Does anyone have a suggestion as to sight for us older hunters.
Thanks

I know where your coming from, been wearin them for 10 yrs and now have tri-focals. For a hunting site go to the largest place around and look at all the sights by holding them at arms length. Some will have "halos", some will have "starbursts". You will have to keep trying them all till you find the lesser of the two evils. All eyes are different. I ended up with the Impact Archery line of sites for hunting. You will probably need a large diameter pin, mine are .029. For target archery, if you shoot competition, go to a large target archery PRO shop. They will have tons of old scopes of varying powers that they don't use and they will be glad to let you " play " with them till you find the right combination that you can see out of and shoot. Nothing will give you that " youthful vision " back though. It will have to be a compromise.

Default RE: Bifocals Help

I got them last year and it took a lot of practice to get sighted in. I have the no line type of glasses and it took some time for me to be able to find the proper focal pointon my lens. I gotuse to wearing them and it comes natural now. Get this...I am now experimenting with bifocal contacts! My glasses always fog up while I hunt, so I wanted to trycontacts. It's going to take about a month but, I'll let you know how my experiment goes.
