Whatever walks by is going to be tried for except for fawns. I will take two does though, because all I would be doing is helping the herd.

I will probably never shoot a doe in my home state. With the max of two deer tags a year, and cow elk walking around, why shoot a doe? when you can fill the freezer with elk...

Does don't get free passes as long as I have tags, except as the rut nears.

no doe tags=no shooting does for me. I had doe tags last year and I gave all but one to some boys who had never killed many deer. I get a better thrill out of hearing their stories than killing them myself. Besides, i haven't killed a doe in 3 yrs

I'll shoot every doe that offers a shot.....as long as she doesn't have a spotted fawn in tow.....or isn't in spots, herself.

Hopefully I'll be done with this type hunting by early Nov.....and I can enjoy hunting a buck or two. If I tag a buck, early.....I'll rescing the doe moratorium and continue the smack-nannython.

In my region of Tennesseee the daily limit for does is 3 per day. That alone tells me that I am irresponsible if I don't shoot any does. I have 4 people who want me to provide them with a deer and I plan on donating an equal amount to hunters for the hungry, add one or two for my freezer and we're at 10 does.

Only after that will I let does walk while I'm seekng a trophy.
