The Count Down Starts
I am sure I can speak for a lot of people when I say its been a long while since last fall!! we have roughly 39 days to go before the Archery Deer season starts in Conn. I can't Wait !!!! exspecially since my son took his bow course this spring and is going to have his first season in the woods. I think its going to be a great season, I am seeing deer everywhere and more than I have ever seen in CT, I almost feel like I am in NY or PA with all the deer I have been seeing. Good LuckAll

Only 39 days for me as well, but I usually don't hunt in September. I would if the air was a bit cooler then. Sometimes I get lucky anda cold front moves in during September. I will take advantage of it and go break the ice. Usually though it is waayy too hot, and I just wait for October.
Then the game is on, and ICAN'T GET ENOUGH of October and November.
