What does everbody think of these for elk in the 100grn? I also have muzzys but the GR's fly better than the Muzzy's. I have heard good and bad on these. Looking for thoughts on these. Thanks.

Your choice of broadheads should NOT be based on "What do you all think". That choice should be made based on bow, draw weight and KE. Taking a poll is a recipe for failure. If you want to ask the question the answers to my questions should be part of your question. Any more questions? [8D]

Though I've killed nearly 30 deer with mechs, I don't want to take any chances that even the slightest thing could go wrong onmy upcoming elktrip. I've NEVER once questioned my belief in the heads I shot in the past (Rocket Aeroheads) for whitetails, but I do believe the .025" thick blades on the MX-3's which will be in my quiver in a couple weeks might withstand smacking into an elk rib and staying intact better than the thinner Rocket heads, thereby allowing it to continue on through and do even more damage.
Shooting a fixed-blade head does require a lot more time and effort from a tuning standpoint, but when you do get yourbow shooting field points and broadheads at the same spot, you'll have the utmost confidence in your setup.

OPEN THE BLADES OF THE GRIM REAPERS AND LET THEM EAT.
I HAVE PRACTICED WITH THEM THIS WAY HOWEVER, I HAVE NOT SHOT ANYTHING WITH THEM OPEN!! THEY WERE HITTING IN THE SAME SPOT WHEN I WAS PRACTICING WITH THEM OPEN!!!!!
GIVE IT A TRY ON THE PRACTICE FIELD BEFORE YOU GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
