Heavy rains = heavy mast crop
After the last 2 seasons of severe drought in Tx we are finally getting rain. And rain in record amounts. The acorns have been scarce the last 2 years. Not so this year. It looks like a really good crop on the white oaks this year. My favorite stand is in an oak grove. I'm really looking forward to opening day!

i hear you on that Tx. we are going to have a great crop this year and i am ready for it. wont be much need for corn untill late december this year. good luck this season and good happy hunting

I swore I was never flying thru Dallas again after being stuck in the airport for 12 hours earlier this year. Well I guess I get to go back this month. So it better not rain on the 21st or 23rd or I am going to go insane.
