went to the pro shop.
I went to the local pro shop yesterday and got my bow retuned for this year. the arrows i normally shoot are discontinued so i had to change to an arrow that weighs about 1gr. less. Anyways, I asked him about broadhead suggestions being that his bow is an exact replica of mine, and he says he will only shoot grim reaper razortips. now i dont want to rely on one mans opinion so I ask. Has anyone used these and what is your experience with them? Also, what about treestand shots? Will the arrow deflect while opening at an angled shot? Ive googled info for any bad reviews and have found more people to like them than dislike them. So if you've used these please let me know of your experience with them, with season around the corner its down to the wire.

BTW, I was turned onto them by my local proshop guy too, he shoots them and swears by them, now so do I.
Edit: I screwed up the quote first time around.

thanks. i think i may try them because of the good reviews ive read. i just wasnt 100% convinced. ive heard the rage broadheads are awesome as well but the closest place to me that sells them is about 2 hrs away and i do tend to lose arrows just like everyone else and i didnt want to have to drive 2 hrs everytime i need a replacement blade or new broadheads completely. also the guy at the local bow shop proudly displays the shoulder blade of a deer that his GR blasted through along with the broadhead still in great condition. but like i said one mans opinion wasnt quite enough.
