If he lived 1 minute after being in my range he'd be lucky

Good looking deer, PEAK.

It looks like he's got pretty good mass and some junk at his bases which would indicate a 3.5 year old plus deer. It depend on the property really. If you've got some 4.5 and 5.5 year olds running around I'd say give him a year.

Around where I live a 3.5 is an older deer and would definitely constitute a shooter.

Either way, he's a nice one.

If that is the same property you took your buck off last year I would let him walk. It depends on what else you are seeing.

Good looking buck and without a doubt mature. You'll have a hard time passing him up in November I am sure.

What interests me is the very large bodied deer in front of him!?

I'm thinking the same as dukemichaels,

That is a massive, I repeat massive, doe in front of that buck.

Is it just me?

Lebeau... I sincerly doubt the deer in front to be a doe. It could be.. I just doubt it.

notice the twig and berries in between his legs... dead give away!
