Default New Bowhunter here...

Howdy all....I'm new (very) to bowhunting, and I aquired a bow from my grandfather. Its a Bear Blacktail Hunter. Anyways, the rubber fletching on the arrows is shot, and I need to get it them fixed up. How should I go about doing this. There is so many different products out their for re-fletching, so any help would be very apprechiated. Thanks guys.

Find a pro shop and take it to them, they will be able to help you out, you will have to get your bow tunned in and set up, they will do all that for you. welcome

I would go to a pro shop since this is your frist experience with fletching. If you do not have any local, try the arizona ez-fletch or blitenberger. I have the arizona and it works great

Without knowing anything about archery or knowing someone that knows something about archery, probably better to get it done by a pro shop or just buy new arrows (instead of reflecthing old arrows). It's like putting new tires on an old clunker.

How old is that equipment? Better make sure it is safe to use first.

thanks for all of your comments, I took it to Buckrub here in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. And I decided to just buy new arrows instead.
