RE: Question About Scent Blocker??
GMMAT,
I particularly singled out bows as one area where this does get old.
And it is helpful when someone says why a product sucks (especially if from experience).
That's why I usually throw in a little nugget of wisdom (hah) with my product disapproval and try
to keep my positive-negative ratio at 3-1.

Dont waste your money.
http://www.fastestbows.com/articles/corrigan/scent_suits.htm
Read that. And again...dont waste your money on that scent lok/blocker junk.
When it comes down to it, your trying to fool a deers nose. I dont think a piece of clothing will do that.

Charlie:
I have no reason not to believe you. I own it, too.....and I have NO IDEA as to whether or not I see more deer with it or without it (I don't wear it all the time). These threads kill me, though......
I probably hunt with it 50% of the time. I couldn't tell you with any certainty whether or not I see more or less deer with it on or off. I just know it's pretty well-made camouflage.....and I paid likely LESS for it than most pay for their name brand open pattern camo (which I also own garments of).
So, for me.....it's quality camouflage.....and if it has ANY scent-blocking capabilities.....what a bonus. Not why I bought it, though.

And there's NO WAY you can say it doesn't "WORK". It worked for me 5 times, last year, alone. I have no reason to think it won't "work" at least that many times this year (maybe more??).
It's camouflage. How does it not "work"? I still play the wind (as much as possible). I still practice a good scent-control regimen.
Do I think someone could take a dump in them and shower with a skunk carcass and not have scent issues? Let's ALL be "real", here, guys. I don't think anyone who uses this stuff believesall the advertising. I know I don't.

RE: Question About Scent Blocker??
It's okay, folks. It'll all be better as soon as bow season gets here. Jeff, if you do spontaneously combust, could you try to do it in front of one of your cams? I'd love to actually see it happen. Oh wait, then it wouldn't be spontaneous, would it?
