Would you crossbow hunt if disabled?
Simple question. Would you bowhunt with a crossbow if you suddenly became disabled from using a compound?
My anwer would be yes. I don't have anything against crossbow hunters. The only thing I have a problem with are the ones that think they can hit a deer 300 yards away since they are equipped with a scope.[:'(]
Of course, I would'nt have as much fun witha X-bow but I would still enjoy getting an early start on hunting some whitetail no matter the weapon.

I am lucky that I live in a state where they do not discriminate against a hunters choice of equipment. The great state of Ohio where the long Bows have not been padding the wallets of the state game heads to keep there sales up and the CB out! Virginia just woke up to this two years ago.

You can use a shotgun during Bow season. Bow season does not stop during gun season, you can bow hunt, you just have to have a blaze orange vest on while doing it. Rifles are not allowed during gun season for safety reasons, not shotguns manufactures worried about sales or people worried about to many people in "their" woods shooting "their" deer. Simple facts!

I may have miss read that or made my typing look confusing. I read it as saying Ohio discriminates against Bow hunters during Gun season. You may have not meant that. Also Gun season dates are set based on estimated deer populations to help insure good numbers and good deer management.
