Another thing to think about... snipers are always laying on the ground, hidden in foliage (not talking about urban fighting here)... not up in a tree where lack of foliage allows one to be skylighted and you're trying to break up the human outline as a whole maybe more than just trying to diffuse the "edge".

I think 3-d camo looks GREAT in certain applications, but maybe moreso on the ground than in a tree--at least the REAL bushy ones.
