Oops, I did it again.
Last weekend when I picked my kids up for the weekend, my son brought a bow that my ex had bought him at a yard sale for $5.00. It's an oooooold Ben Pearson Shadow, 50-60#, but it's a pretty thing. I went to the shop today and had an inexpensive rest, sight, limbsavers, string leeches, peep and D-loop installed and bought him a Tru Fire Hurricane release. I brought it home and thought I'd sight it in with my old 5575 GoldTip XTs. After a few tweaks, I shot twice, adjusted, twice more, adjusted, and the next two shots did this. You can tell that Scooter is impressed. BTW, so much for the suspended target preventing robin-hoods.[:@]
(Edited to say that Scooter is the kitten, in case you didn't guess, and I wasn't impressed. I hate it when this happens.)

Thanks, Bryan. One other thing I picked up was a new string. It could really use a stabilizer. The thing feels like it's going to jump out of my hand when I shoot. The Limb Savers helped, but compared to my Drenalin, it feels like a joy buzzer.

Sometimes its nice to get away from the high tech stuff and just shoot for plain old fun. When i am having a bad day with the compound i get out the recuve or long bow and have some fun.
