Default Limbsavers falling off?

So, tonight while shooting I had two limbsavers fall off my bow.

One of the larger ones fell off of my upper limb anda smaller one fell off of my sight.

Did I somehow manage to get a bad batch?

Is my bow vibrating like crazy and causing them to fall off?

Did I maybe forget to clean the surfaces I put the limbsavers on?

Anyone else ever have this problem?

Shoot a Guardian, you don't need them. It doesn't vibrate.

Maybe there was some dust or oil on the bow when you put them on.

Jm, I hate the Guardian.

Ok, I don't hate it, but I'm not a huge fan of it. Draw cycle sucks at any weight. Not smooth enough for me.

It shoots fantastic, but I hate drawing it.

RJ, I'll put the new Quads on tomorrow at work and keep my fingers crossed that they don't fall off. Damn things can get expensive!

I'm not a big fan of the stick on LS's.......While I don't see them fall off too often, they fall off entrirely too much for my taste, and like you said, they are expensive.

I wonder if instead of limbsavers, I should just throw on an extra set of the stock Bowtech limb dampeners? We've got a set in back at work, wouldn't take much to pop the cams off and slip them on.

Think it would be just as effective?

I've never had any problems with the large limbsavers....I tried the mini's on my sight and quiver and had the same experience as you.[:@] It's something they should address for sure.

I had limbsavers on my bow for 5 yrs, no problems. But u do have to make sure that the bow surface is really clean, preferably w/denatured alcohol.

No i wouldnt switch to the Bowtech dampeners. I would thoroughly clean the part of the limb youll be putting your limbsavers on with rubbing alcohol. Then, just before you put them on, add just a small dab of super glue to the bottom of the limbsavers. I've done this and never had a problem with them coming off.
