RE: 2007 Charity Donation - The Official Thread
Guys, I planned on giving my 100.00 $ to Keiths organization, I had already talked it over with Dee and we felt that was the place for it to go, then last week here at school, River City Middle School in Post Falls...We had a student, one of Dee's advisory kids(home room type of class)students..meaning a kid she has gotten so close..too..
Sean Morris (12)died inthe parking lot on Tuesday the 8th.. He had a heart failure while walking up to his mothers parked car. It was tough as he collapsed right there in teh parking lot..we had a lot of kids out there, I was in Basketball practice when they ran it and got me. CPR couldnt bring him back nor could the paramedics using everything they had. IT was his time. He was such a cool kid, he always lived life to the fullest, he loved the outdoors and always had a positive attitude..
Anyway, Dee and I are going to donate our 100.00 now tothe "Sean Morris" Memorial fund/Mountain West Bank, Post Falls(I think it is)...Dee has already written the check. In the 9 years I have known my wife I have never seen here so torn up this past week. She is like the the home away from home Mom to these kids and Sean was one of her closest boys.. When the news reporter called, they interviewed Dee about Sean and his greatcharacter.
Its been a tough week here and I dont like bringing this up and wasnt going to on here but I want everyone to know we are donating that 100.00 to his cause.

Good deal Troy, sounds like a very worthy cause.
I sure hope you and the family can get over this. I know it will be hard for a while, but good luck to ya.

I just checked my original post because I forgot what I had pledged and I am in for $83.25.
I got 3 does at $10 each, 1 buck at $10 plus $.50 per inch of antler. I will round that up to $85.00 and make my donation to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation in honor of my mother who lost her battle with breast cancer in 1994.

Money has been tight for me so far this year. A lot of unexpected bills as far as vehicles go...pickup, snowmobile, gfs car, and my car....
but as soon as I get some money in the bank I will make a donation as promised. I ended up shooting 3 bucks (2 1/2 yr olds) so no trophys,,,I will have to check back and see exactly what it will be.
