Default heads up !! guardian + limb saver drop away

I just thought I'd post my experience with this combo in case anyone else was looking into it. My pro shop just got the new limb saver drop aways in stock so I had them mount one on my new guardian. I shot it a few times and the rest would constantly lay flat and then spring up at the last second at the roll over knocking my arrow clean off. I had three techs and myself working on it to get it to rise smoothly. We shortened the string, lengthened the string, moved the string location on the cable and widened the string loop to remove knock pinch. After 45 minutes there was nothing we could do to stop it from popping up at the last second. The techs said they had never noticed this on other bows but this was the first limb saver they had on a guardian. I finally switched to a drop zone and the thing worked like a champ. I know the rest is a nice rest and of course the bow is great I just don't think the combo worked too well together and I thought I'd give everyone a heads up before they went playing around with it.

LOL...Mike was definitely scratching his head on this one. I think he was more ticked that he couldn't figure it out than anything and had to resort to switching rests to get it resolved. I have to actually run the limb saver packaging up to him this afternoon since I didn't have it with me at the time.
