The best post EVER v2.0
For those of you who remember the original Best Post Ever, you'll recall that I attempted to try and cover a lot of the questions that are repeatedly asked by members of this forum. Well, I feel its time for round two, a revised version of the original thread. Some of the original questions will be answered here again, so sit back, relax, and try not to laugh, I'm being completely serious here.
Isit a shooter?
It looks like a deer to me.
What bow do you shoot and why?
One that works.
Does it matter? You're not shooting it, I am.
Is this the same buck?
I don't know; is it?
Does it have the same amount of points?
Does the mass look the same?
Are they the same width?
Are those even antlers?
Are you kidding me?
Which is better; Carbon or Alluminum?
They both have their advantages.
Alluminum is always going to be straighter from the factroy, but carbon will always be more durable.
I suggest visiting your local pro shop and talking to the employees there about the positives and negatives of both.
How's my form?
Horrible.
You should completely give up archery and take up golf.
Why don't people shoot X brand of bow?
Because for some odd reason, X brand of bow didn't appeal to said people. We found X brand of bow to be uncomfortable to shoot, heavy, loud, and it vibrated like hell.
Should I buy a new bow?
Absolutely.
Your old bow is junk and is no longer capable of killing animals.
Also, you're less of a man for shooting old technology.
60# or 70#?
Are you old?
No?
Then 70#.
What is your maximum effective range?
It doesn't matter.
Even if I said ten yards someone would turn it into a debate.
Does Germ really spoon animals?
Unfortunately, yes.
Does Bigfoot exist?
Yes, but he's sensitive about his name.
He prefers to be called Larry.
Has anyone shot the X-Force yet?
Yes.
Which broadheads should I shoot this fall?
Sharp ones.
When does the contest start?
Eventually.
How do I get on a team?
Sign up for the Bowhunting contest, you'll be placed randomly.
When does the contest start?
Eventually.
Deja Vu.
Can you really shoot through "Shoot Thru" mesh?
Yes.
And before you ask, no, it doesn't affect the arrow slight at all.
String loop or no?
There is absolutely no good reason not to shoot with one.
I shot one, now what?
Get off the computer and get back in the woods.
Find your deer.
Use every available resource at your disposal to find your animal.
And there you have it, the second edition of the best post EVER. I realize that this will not put an end to these questions, but hopefully it answered a couple questions that someone was thinking of asking again.
Add anything you feel needs to be added, I'm sure I missed quite a few.
