I know you have a 100 + inch deer in your woods jeff but if it is anything like it is down here they are elusive enough that you can barley get em on the cam. I have seen three that would make the books here in the wild and at the taxidermists. I have one about 4.5 to 5.5 runnin around my woods that should make books but its the only one i have ever seen in the wild the other two were at the taxi. I wouldnt be surprised if you dont have a 130 inch buck in there but with so many does like there is around here he wouldnt even have to move off of the bed to find a willing doe during the rut

Oneshot....I hear people say this all the time....and it's indefensible. All I have to do is say there's a 150" deer in your woods....but that he's too elsuive or savvy to let you see him.

I'm not making light of what you say.....because there MAY be deer that grow old and die where I hunt....that no one ever sees. It just seems highly unlikely ......as much as I hunt these woods (which brings up the guys who'll say I'm pressuring them out....lol).

Damned if you don't go in there (aren't out there enough to see the big boys)....and damned if you DO go in there (pressure them out).

It's indefensible (to say they're NOT in the woods I hunt).

Don't call me.....I'll call you.

No....seriously....I might! We'll see how many we have out of there by rut time. if the number's still low (harvest numbers)....it'll be guest days every Saturday....even Friday evenings. My son saw a dead doe by the pond across the street, last night. I hate it.....but not too bad. I'd like to get the meat from them.....but natural predation, human predation, car predation......they're all accomplishing my goal, right now.
