Those deer are indicative of the ones I generally see, here.

A fair representation of our state's herd. Congrats.

These are eastern Nc deer and the area is heavily hunted with dogs during gun season so a 15inch to 18inch buck is a quality older deer in the area - I try to only harvest 15 inch bucks and at the point in my career to where I am looking for qaulity deer- actually looking into a hunt in North Dakota next year - maybe a combo muley, whitetail, antelope

thanks for the comments and sorry for the disgruntled look in the photos - but I am from Nc so teeth a priced treasure

how old would you guess these deer to be - all three bucks were large in body size for the area 150 to 180lb bucks - I am guessing 3.5 on the two larger bucks and 2.5 on the 6 point

I'd guess...

2.5 on the first.

I can't really see the 2nd.

1.5 on the 3rd.

Nice deer, I would say 2.5 on the first 2, 1.5 on the last one.

Mark,

It was actually my excellent hunting prowess and a garden hose that helped hide the wound. All three bucks were taken- short range and the shots were placed high with a low exit woundthe 9point -13 yards, 6 point -4 yards, 8 point- 7 yards.

Just joking, nice buck Brknarrow1970.
