That is true. If you figure -10 fps for 20 extra grains of arrow weight and -20 fps for losing 2 inches off of IBO, and the bow has an IBO speed of 340 you should still be at least between 300 and 310. Man that WB must do a number on speed.

My shop actually just started stocking the X Force because so many people were asking for it. I'm very interested to see how the X Force 7 performs when it comes out.

You've gotta figure, the IBO speed is bare bow, bare string. Not sure exactly what Coug's bow was equipped with, but if he put sights and a metal nockpoint on, it was taxing the IBO numbers at least a little bit. Any rubber doo-dads on the string? String loop?

So, yeah, I'd agree that he should have been at 310 IBO, but there's probably a reason that it was a few feet slower.

By the way, what's the deal with the new X-Force with the 7" brace? Are they putting those out right now, or is that gonna be a 2008 thing? One would think that it will be 10 feet slower, but that's just me playing guessing games.

Glad to hear it guys. Cranked mine down to 64lbs with a 352 grain arrow and it shot 306. Tried to tell everyone its a great bow, maybe not the best for everyone, but it is for me. Quiet, very fast, and pretty darn smooth. At 28inch draw this is a great bow. If I was a 30-31 maybe it wouldn't matter.

Also the draw was not much different for me at the 64lbs vers the 70lbs, I will be crankn it back up.

Anyway I really Like it, and can not wait to STICK one.

I agree here. The draw on this bow isn't that harsh at all. It definately wasn't what I expected. If I were to buy one it'd probably be a 60# maxed out or a 70# backed out.
