Dean Davis is the one who took a job with Bass Pro. He is a Promotions Manager there. I happen to know that simply because my girl is the Promotions Manager at our local Bass Pro and she brought back a picture of all the other Promo Managers from a big meeting in MO, and sure enough...I acctually recognised him!

Dean Davis is on Truth 15 though. Kind of as a guest hunter.

Last I had heard, Ashley has gone back to being a cowboy. Why you would want to leave a job like that....who knows. Might have something to do with the fact that Primos was recently bought by a holding's company. Although as I understand it, Ashley left back in Oct '06.

I love the Primos videos. Those guys are fun to watch. I've gotten the two Drury DVDs and watched Dream Season 10 and I'm halfway through Whitetail Madness 10. They're good as always. I still have to pick up the Primos DVDs.

On a side note, any idea what happened with the Kiskys? It looks like they are no longer associated with Drury Outdoors. I would assume it is a sponsorship conflict (MO & ScentBlocker for Drury and RT & ScentLok for Kisky), but I haven't heard anything for sure. Anyone know?

The Kisky's are doing the Whitetail Freaks videos/tv show now, which is produced by Scent-Lok. I'm sure it had nothing to do with any conflict of interest or sponsorship, just merely a new business opportunity for them to branch out and do more on their own.

Here's an e-mail Kandi Kisky sent out last week regarding showtimes for Whitetail Freaks:
The countdown is on. In 9 days the premier of Scentlok's Whitetail Freaks hosted by Lee Lakosky and Don Kisky will air during the Scentloks Wed night block at 8:00pm central standard time and additional airtime Monday's at 3:30pm central standard time on The Men's Outdoor Recreation Channel. So set your alarms for June 27 at 8:00pm cst and make yourself some popcorn and get ready for Whitetail Freaks!!

Let us know what you think!!
Kandi
And you can pick up a copy of the first Whitetail Freaks DVD that came out last year on Scent-Lok's site here: http://shopping.scentlok.com/Products/Scent-Loks-Whitetail-Freaks-with-Don-and-Kandi-Kisky__0220.aspx

This year's winners of the Bowhunting Contest all got a copy of it, so maybe a few of them can chime in and let you know what they thought.

The Men's Outdoor Recreational Channel? I've got every channel available on DirectTV (minus the porn) and I've never heard of that. How do you get it?

I was wondering what happened to Chris Ashley! Glad he's not dead. And yes the Kiskys and Lasoskys are in bed together doing their fancy production. I refuse to watch these shows, so over-produced and predictable. And if they say they "smoked" one more deer I'm going to scream!!!!!! Classy line. Have a little respect for the animal you're hunting.
