Still waiting on new limbs
I called the shop that I took my bow to for warranty replacement of my limbs. They still don't have the replacements. I dropped the bow off on
6-9-07 and asked them to expidite shipping. I told them I would be happy to pay shipping charges. Here it is a week and a 1/2 later and still no limbs. It was explained to me that the shop employee that ordered the limbs forgot to ask for expidited shipping. I'm not too happy about that. I was also told I can expect to pay about $75 to have my bow reassembled. This for a warranty repair of a split limb. I told them DO NOT reassemble the bow if you are going to charge me for it. I will do it myself. I can expect my new limbs in late this week. They finally got shipped yesterday. The only good thing in all of this is all the practice I'm getting with the recurve.
This is my first and last dealing with this particular shop. The place I bought the bow is no longer a Diamond dealer so I couldn't go back there. I'll make the longer drive to a different shop next time.
