Spend the money on API or Summit. Get what you pay for in a climber and usually a hang-on.

I own a Hunters View Hawkand like it. I can sit all day long in it if needed. Its a bit on the heavier side but its ease of climbingis great. I feel feel perfectly safe in mine. They are a very well built stand and a great stand for the money. I have had no issues with mine at all. Two thumbs up here.

I have a Hunter's View. It is heavy. I usually leave it where I hunt for that reason. I have found it to be comfortable enough to hunt all day. As far as strapping my boots in goes I took the nylon straps off and put Romex on. for those that don't know Romex is wire used to wire houses. I made a pair of stirrups and it works great. East to get your feet in and out of, it won't collapse and it is very durable.

I'm not a fan of a two piece climber set up. I like my one piece Loggy.

About the climbing straps i myself find it easier to use the angled bars on the side of the foot platform works real well for me! Main thing is just tie the two pieces together!

i have two older hawk climbers(metal) they are great all except the weight,1 1/2mile walks are a chore so i just leavethem where i hunt also.
i replaced the foot straps with bungees and always put 1 bungee around the back of my heels when climbing do this with all my climbers..
cant say what the new ones are like, they may have changed, but 6 years or so with a $99 stand, got my moneys worth.
very steardyand comfy, quieter than my viper but little harder to strap on a tree in the dark.

You can download them and print them out on their website! They have the instructions for every stand they have ever made on there.

ORIGINAL: catch

i bought a hunters view stand a while ago and i'm extremely disappointed in it and the company. when i got the stand there were no instructions included for assembly or use. i've been trying to get the company to send me some but i can't get them to answer phone or email. i'll never buy anything from them again and will never reccommend that anyone else does either just because of that.
