RE: Your thought on which Dropaway rest?
Lots of good ones out there. Dropaways are great. I have used a TrophyTaker for years with no failure. It always performs perfect. I have one on each of my bows, so does my wife, and my kid. My favorite is the Pronghorn model that I just put on my new Guardian. I have a Shakey hunter on my Tribute and shot the original model for years tillI gave it to my kid and he changed the laucher arm to a shakey hunter.

I've just recently switched to a Limb Driver and it is the best rest I've used by far. Very easy to set up properly and no fletching contact unlike the rest I was shooting previously (NAP 2000). Also it doesn't affect cam timing and let off like dropaway rests tied into the down cable. Only downside it there is not as good containment as some other rests but I do 95% of my hunting from a treestand where my arrow sits on a hook.

I guess a quick note since flething contact has been mentioned, and I know this was not a problem with everyone.. BUT, my Qad (as great as it is) was giving me a tiny bit of fletching contact once I switched to Blazers.. I took that capture bar off the top and it's perfect once again. No real need for the bar anyway.

I wouldn't hesitate to try the Rip Cord or the QAD Pro HD, both are excellent rests
