How many FPS do Blazers add?

RE: How many FPS do Blazers add?
with my set up... 1-3 fps. Not exactly a world altering difference. They made 0 difference in trajectory like they claimed either. However, they are quieter in flightand they are tough as nails.

RE: How many FPS do Blazers add?
Got a Tom Redmond catalog yesterday. Nice catalog btw.
On the page discussing their custom fletching, I believe it said (off the top of my head) that a Quickspin is about 7 fps slower at 15 yards than a Blazer. It said something silly about this is something your dealer won't tell you. That just stuck out at me, but I don't know anything about it.

RE: How many FPS do Blazers add?
The amount of speed gained or lost is directly proportional to how much weight you add or subtract from your arrow weight..........it has nothing to do with the design itself.
If your going from a heavy 4" vane set up to Blazers........you'll pick up a bit, going from feathers to Blazers.........you'll likely lose a bit.
Figure somewhere around 1fps for about every 3grs gained or lost. So with that model if you go from a 25gr fletchingset upto a 15gr one it would be an educated guess to figure you might pick up about 3fps.

I switched from 4" vanes to blazers and nothing changed.
