Wow, amazing how easy it is for people to skew a thoery to make what they say sound good

The higher poundage bow can shoot the same arrow with more KE.

Everyone automatically keeps saying that the guy with the heavier DW shoots lighter arrows when at the range I see way more guys shooting 350 gr arrows at 55 and i'm using 420 gr at 72# at 292 fps.

The problem being that many of the people that shoot lighter weight automatically go to lighter arrows to increase speed even though they claim that speed is not their goal.

A lot of guys with higher draw weights shoot the heavier arrows even faster than the light DW arrow guys. Which would you choose?

Me, i'll take the 72# Allegiance with a 420 gr arrow over the 55# bow with the 350 gr arrow. Thank you very much.

as the boys in the hood say

Not a PSE Nova with soft cams, LOL Which is my example

The point is not just about draw weight! There is alsocams type, Arrows weightand broadhead sharpness.

Shooting a 60 softcam round wheel bow compared to a 50# hardcam is not that different. You guys are stuck on the weight and not taking the Bow design in to the equation

Put the crackpipe down Germ. A 50# Slowtech Retardianlobs arrows around 10 fps. I guess that's enough KE, maybe if you're hunting field mice or gerbils. For deer, you'd be better off with no bow at all, just trying to pounce onto the deer's back andchoke it to death.

Bigcountry - sounds like you need to hit the weights. If that doesn't work out - I figure with all the hot air you've got, you might wanna check out one of these. You could probably launch that puppy through a concrete wall.

For the record, I didn't say that the high poundage bows are more manly. It's just the users that are macho.

Well some of us have big enough arms to pounce on one and choke it to death. Your .17 calibar guns would crack like Paris Hilton in Jail

What are those pythons(gardner snakes) 8-9 inches in Circumference

I've got 6" on each of these pythons. You combine them, and that's 12" of pure steer wrestling power. If I do 2-3 pushups, right before I burn out - the pipes swell up to 7" each with a good "pump." That's 14" total. Pretty massive.

I won the "Over the Top" world armwrestling title for my weight class (I was uncontested). You're dealing with a world champion here, Germ. I'm no fly-by-night, and I've got the medals to prove it.

Pictures and looks mean nothing when it comes to strength. Perception is a funny thing.

I've been in the gym with guys a lot bigger than me that are pansies on the weights. They throw them all over the place and make all sorts of grunting noises to sound big and bad trying to impress.

It's funny watching a 260 lb guy humiliated when you use the same weight they do and they have 80 or 90 lbs on you.

You do realize quick and I are joking My other job I am a personel trainer so I know exactly what you are saying

So you never answered my question

Would you take a 60# PSE Nova with soft round wheels or a 50# Bowtech Guardian shooting the same arrrow?
