Went with the 3 smaller and when would you ever get more than 3 shots in a sit. Just my thoughts.

Depends on what your going for, I'd probably say 3.

I ususally carry my traditional equipment in an over the back style quiver (aka robinhood) Only cause I take it goose hunting now and then

Between the two I would say the 6 arrow quiver. I have a 4 arrow quiver and really like it. I have shot 3 arrows in a day (and no, only one arrow missed). More arrows the better, better safe than sorry .

I too would want at least four. Arrows don't weigh much, and I would sure hate to run dry if something unusual happened. A couple of years ago, a guy I know had a coyote stop right under his stand. He shot it. Had to shoot it again to kill it. That left him two arrows left. An hour later a buck came by. He shot and missed (apparent range estimation error). The deer ran a short distance and stopped. He got it on his last arrow. Had to track it with one of the dulled arrows nocked that he had used earlier on the coyote.

The more the merrier!!! Strictly for whitetail, 3 is probably enough, but what if you hunt somewhere where you can take 2 in a day, or hunt where you can hunt multiple species?

Mine holds four and my last one held six,
personally i would go with the six because if you small game hunt or do lots of shooting you will want it more.
