RE: I love the 21st Century!!!!!
Let me see, I am still pretty old school on some stuff like arrows and my release.
I have one of those trigger releases I kept from the old bow that I love, it has the ball bearings that hold the string, brand I have no idea, I bought 20 years ago, but it works good for me.
Arrows are easton aluminum 2016's, right now I am shooting 100 grain spitfires, I may switch to muzzy's next year.
It was a kit bow that came with a 3 pin fiber optic sight.
I had the guy set it at 70 pounds pull with 28 inch draw length, I was pulling 65 on my old bow, but I have read that when you set the bow at it's max poundage they shoot better and I have no problem pulling it so why not go with it.
It has the loop off the handle to keep you from dropping it, I shoot open handed and didn't have this on the old one and never dropped it, but hey you never know.
It has a short stabilizer on it which I didn't have on the old one.
It is a single cam, I don't remember what the axle to axle length is off the top of my head.
The IBO is 297 FPS, real fast compared to what I was shooting.
I know you techie guys know every little detail of your bow, but I am a simple old man pleased by simple things and even though I don't know all the dope on my bow, I know it is a huge improvement over the old bow!

i know last year i threw my mathews in the closet and bought a hoyte and my confidence and preformance skyrocketed. all i can say is all the deer in your neck of the woods had better beware. Drop them where they stand so the word won't get out.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Thanks Jim, I am pumped about this bow, I will practice a few hours this afternoon and some more tomorrow if I can. If I shoot it as well as I did at the pro shop I will be ready for 25 yards and under easy thursday. Merry Christmas to all!
