I think the true width is toughto tell at that angle. He looks to be pretty nice, but I have no idea where he'll top out at this year. Looks like a wide skinny rack kind of buck. Shooter for some, but others maybe not.

Nice Pic! From his body I would guess a 3 1/2 year old and has a good chance at making P&Y this fall.

He looks like he will be a nice 7 or 8. I would bet he won't carry much mass after he sheds velvetthough. He seems like a young buck when looking at his body characteristics, but still a nice deer.

He looks just like the buck I'm after this year.....when I caught photos of him in July, last year. He looked like a smallish bodied deer (and remember....size of deer is relative to the region of the country) until you saw him beside another. I'll look for a few pics and post them to show you what I'm talking about.

As the season progressed.....and the mast crops fell....he fattened up to become the one I call "The Bull".

Yea Im guessing he's a 3.5 yr old deer. He might be a big 2.5 yr old cause they do run big in my area.

Here is a pic of a deer last year that I think was 2.5, cause I have pics of him at 1.5 being a small 7pt at 14" wide, and I found one of his anlters:
