RE: I'm looking for new brodheads
I'm not super-adamant about which broadhead YOU use....but I shot Muzzy's last year....my first full year...and I recovered all 5 deer I took with the bow within 80 or so yds......with 2 of those being almost zero yd recoveries.
Until they let me down.....I'll keep using them.

Slick trick, slick trick, slick trick. I've shot a ton of different fixed blade heads, and there just aren't many that perform like the ST's.

What are you shooting? Turkey? Deer? Moose? Elephants?
What state doesn't allow mechanicals?
My choice (and here I hunt elk, mulie, white tail, bear, turkey, moose if you can draw, etc) are the NAP Crossfire in 100gr.

As long as its sharp...your bow is tuned...and your arrows are spined right...I suspect a steak knife would work just fine. Course everyone would argue about what camo pattern of duct tape you should attach it with.
I like G5s. I have used Montecs the last season with great success..and am going to tinker with strykers this year. They are so very sharp right out of the package!
