RE: YOUR buck to doe "harvest" ratio?
I hunt with a bow, shot-gun and rifle. I normally Knock down a doe right out of the gate. I use her glands and pee to try to attrack the big boys, esp in early Nov. After that I'll wait to fill most my doe tags until later in the season.
Most seasons I'll get five doe and zero to one buck. I usually end up with one tag unfilled since I held out...

27:2 hows that? You could actually say 26:3 cuz I got a 4 pt doe back in 94.
This ratiowas brought on by mostly hunting Pa and the inability for a non-res to score doe tags. The biggest chunk of the bucks were during rifle season.
One of the doe was last year (bow)and I'll do much much better now. As I mostly hunt Ohio with Bow. I target 3 does and one wall-hanger this year in Ohio..and hopefully a respectable Buck and doe in Pa.

Last year, during the season only, it was 0:32
Over the course of my life...I can only guess at the does, but seeing as how it takes one monster of a buck for me to drop the hammer I'd suspect its 6:~250 And those does are just during the season...if you included culling....make it closer to 600.

Bowhunting my ratio is 1:0. Including gun hunting it's about 1:5. I'm certainly doing my part to get the population where it needs to be, now it's just a matter of getting the others that I hunt with to be more selective.
