Curiosity Scents
I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for post rut hunting and some sort of curiosity scent? With the rut done now, they do not seem to be responding to any of the normal scents I was using. Any ideas on how to attract them a little better during these last few weeks?

RE: Curiosity Scents
I haven't had any luck with scents in the post rut. The deer are just concerned about one thing, eating! They need to put on weight for the winter. Hunt food plots and crop fields. That's where the does will be and the bucks will be following in the hopes of catching the off doe still not bred yet. But the bucks will be mighty hungry too. They've been running does and fighting for 2 months now.

I've never tried scents in late season, but if did I'd go with some food type scents, apple, acorn, etc. I do have a favorite curiosity scent I really like to use in the early season, and have yet to see a deer not stop, and take a good whiff of it. Bob Kirschner's curiosity scent. May also want to give it a try in late season, I've always emptied my bottle by late season to give it a try, but if you do, and have any luck let me know!
