The bitz will last as long as you want it to. If you are going to be fletching your own arrows 20 yrs from now then the jig will have cost you $3.50 a year to use (if you buy it for $70). If you get the other clamps the cost will go up but then you can put any kind of fletch on an arrow that you want. For instance, right now I put a right helical on my arrows but, in talking with the tech rep for crimson talon broadheads, he says that a straight fletch or slightly offset is best to use with blazers and their broadheads. The bitz is durable and versatile, well worth the money you spend on it.
