Depends on the yard or size of the yard, the surroundings, etc ... if its legal, you feel its ethical from the shot to the possible recovery scenarios, then why not?

Heck yea I'd shoot it...cuz if I didn't my neighbors will!!

We had a nice buck hanging around the "neighborhood" where I'm at this winter. Everyone was waiting to snatch up his antlers when they dropped. My next door neighbor was sippin coffee early one morning anf watched as the buck dropped both sides right out in front of him in the field. Needless to say he got both halves. [:@]

Attached is a picture of the buck I took one day out my window...sorry for the poor quality.

When I was still living in the UP, we had a MONSTER 10 coming to the yard, and he was dead meat if we were outside city limits, which we weren't, but about 100yards.

I voted no but in my younger day's I would have smoked anything in my yard. But know it is more about the hunt then the kill. I might have to think twice if it was 180 inch deer. Oh crap know you have me in a moral dilemma (lol) Thanks
