I own 3 Summits, 2 Vipers, and 1 180, and I opted to try one of those Gorilla 'Ol Man copies last year to leave at a post that is remote and that I don't have to worry about theft. I don't buy for any other reason than what I need at the time. My oldest son uses one of the Summits, and Ikeep 2 because I carry them in and out each hunt, unless I am going to hunt in the same place in the evening that I did in the morning. Occasionally, I change my mind after leaving my stand in the morning, so I keep the other available so I have the option to go somewhere else that may be in an entiely different segment of the property. If I do chnge my mind, I don't have to waste time retrieving the one stand, and most likely wil return there the next morning. Typically, I don't like to leave a climber over night for a couple of reasons. 1, I have had bears 'eat' my seats off of my stand, and 2, the deer know something is up when they see it at the base of the tree, and it leaves scent behind on it.

I don't think I will buy another climber. With climbing sticks I can use a light hang-on or tree saddlein more trees that I could use a climber and not carry as much weight.
Same here. I have a Summit Openshot that I bought last summer (the small 14lb job) that only saw the woods twice last fall. Ground blinds and expeditious lock ons are more my speed. You can put them in any tree. And if there are no trees...well enter the ground blind.

I'm ready for a new one. Its been ten years since I bought my last one. I pretty much just use it as a fixed stand anyway..(Treelounge)

I'm interested in the Lone Wolf climber. I've got a couple of whitetail areas that have western larch and lodgepole stands, which are great for climbers no limbs for the first 30-60 feet... depending on the tree.
