Shopping For New Arrows

RE: Shopping For New Arrows
Of the 3, eliminate the Beman's. Not that they are bad arrows, they aren't, but the other 2 are MUCH better. If you're willing to spend the money for the CX or GT, leave it with those 2.....
I have no experience w/ Gold Tip, but a few friends do. The Pro Hunters are good arrows. I do, however, have experience w/ Maxima Hunter's. We sell them at the shop and it's AMAZING to guy's groups shrink from say 3" to 2" simply by changing arrows. I've seen it happen time and time again. I think it has something to do w/ the weight forward and spine consistency.

Beamans are not bad arrows but like others have said the CX and GTs are that much better. I have not personally shot the Maxima's yet but I have heard nothing but good things about them. I have however shot the GTs and happen to be a fan of them. But INMHO you won't be going wrong with either GT or CX

I tried the Maxima's last year and I did not notice any improvement over the less expensive Golden Tip XT Hunters. I would spend my money on the best GT product I could afford.

RE: Shopping For New Arrows
I have CX 3-D +/- .001selects and GT XT Hunters +/-.003. I spun the CX's and they are perfect. After spinning and fletching my own GT's I had 4 perfect and 2 heavy on 1 side.
I haven't seen that much difference in performance over the more expensive CX 3-D's at 20 yds. So, is the more expensive Pro Hunter really worth it?
I did add the pin nocks to the GT's and it hasalready saved me 3 arrows after 1 night of shooting.Broke one of the nocks off butthe pin nock did it's job with no harm to the shaft. Had 2 others arrows glance off the end of the pin nock with no damage to nock or shaft.
Aussie also recommended using ACC 3-60 uni bushings.
