Bummer. Prime hunting ground is disolving at an ALARMING rate...
I believe the opposite is true. I've been able to thrive in the past years with my hunting opportunities.

Dad came home from his business trip and I had to break the news to him. He takes a lot of pride in his farm and I could tell this stung.

I feel your pain as well Germ.[:@] I've lost all my farms over the years due to progress.

Sometimes it actually works in your favor.. sometimes it doesn't.

Because of the River I know it will be in my favor. The bank is 30 feet on the other side, and to the north and south is all flood plain. what it willl do is give a close place for a mature buck to hide.

Just a shame, becasue there is not that much of this river left that has not been develope.

Yes, but he hunts my best morning spot He is done Oct first or second.

In 2001 he shot 2 P & Y within 5 mins of each other on Oct 1st.

He does not get out much, maybe 3 times a year, but he is ultra succesful. He has never even setup a stand[8D] Lazy goverment worker

Germ, when I scout I look for these areas because so many others over look them. P&Y bucks can be an everyday sighting. All I can say is thank you to my friends who took me under their wing and showed me what to look for.
