PSE Deerhunter Compound Bow Packagevs. Alpine New Frontier Compound Bow Package

http://www.huntersfriend.com/bowpkg2.htm

Use to shoot when I was young with my dad and brother. My brother just got back into bowhunting last summer and now I am. I am in college (but about to graduate inDecember, Double FINANCE/REAL ESTATE)so I cant go all out with the bows but want one that will be nice for a while.
Which one is a better deal?

Thanks guys

If I'm gonna spend $500.....I'd likely go with a Diamond or a Bowtech Tomkat.

Just me, though.........

They have 2006 Diamond Rapture package on that page for $499.
That would be my choice on that page for $500.

Do you think the Wildfire is worth the step-up in price?

Looking at those bows, I don't think you would go wrong with the Diamond, Parker or Martin. All are going to be good packages at that price, all are fairly short ATA, with parallel limbs and at or above 300 fps. I would shoot before buying is my last advice. One will likely stand out to you. Also, all those bows should be on display and possible shooting at Cabela's or Bass Pro.
