So for the last week or so, I have been using a borrowed custom recurve made by "hummingbird" to fling arrows at the technohunt, and I must say I have gotten pretty good back to 20 yards and it is a ton of fun..................
Hummingbirdmake very nice recurves... Are you going to give it back?
Heh........not sure. It is a shop bow that was on the shelf for sale, we are a really big traditional shop. We carry Martin, Wapiti, Zipper, Hummingbird, and some other names as well. These bows are almost pieces of artwork, the hummingbird I have been playing with is so shiny I would be afraid to take it in the woods. If someone decides that they want to buy that bow though, it is gone and I will pick up another to play with.

I have used the trad stuff in the past for small game and was getting really good with it.I have killed some Pheasants and quail with it and it was a blast but as you said, time is critical to be profficient with it and I just didn't have it at the time.
