I have two of them and really like them. They're super comfortable, but the seat is a little low, which makes it harder to stand up and draw.
The only other downfall is their lock-on setup. You need to put a crank strap around it to keep it from moving side to side. I do still love to hunt in them for their comfort.

do you put the crank strap on the bracket, or at the bottom of the stand??
See im thinking bout using these in an area where theft is a problem, i will put a set of sticks or screw-ins up and leave the bracket in the woods (locked on) then just carry the stand w/ me.

I have one but have only used it once and I put it on in the dark and on a crooked tree so it was slanted as I sat in it. Still it seemed comfortable enough. Plan to give it much more use this year. I know Len uses them also.

First get the brackat as tight as you can (which isn't that tight because of the oversized hook they give you), set the stand in the bracket and you'll see that if you move the seat left to right it is't really that sturdy. I put the strap around the 3 vertical supports, about in the middle, and crank it until the strap is imbedded in the pinebark! Then for security I have it locked withone of bike cables that are tough to cut. It seems like overkill, and I guess it is in a way, but I still think they're one of the most comfortable.
I have same problem of theft where I hunt. I've learned that if someone wants to take your stand bad enough they'll do it regardless of preventitive measures. The lock is basically a deterrent.

I've got them in the shop and have a LOT of experience in using them. I can show you some neat tricks with the stand that I've developed/designed.
As far as price, you only have to buy one stand and then as many tree brackets as you like for different locations. This winds up giving you many stand locations with one VERY comfortable stand.
See you Friday when the BowTech truck is there.
