Well I finally got tomeet another person from the forums today. I met up with Mobowhuntr his dad and brother at a Tom Knapp shooting Exibition at a range about half way between us.Mr. Knappcan handle a shotgun!!!This is about the third time we had plans on getting together, but something always came up. We broke a few clay birds ourselves then he had to go and coach his daughters ball game. Did they win?

It is always neat to meet one of the veterans of HNI. I knew he wouldn't be hard to get along with as much ribbing as he takes around here. I think we are going to try to get together for a 3D shoot or 2 later this year. And maybe even chasea few whitetails together. I might put him onto one of the bucks that hang around my neighborhood. It would be neat to be there when he gets his first buck.

John, it was super nice to meet up with you today as well......Oh by the way, did I mention......You're kinda tall.....[&:] I'm not short, but holy cow......! Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but SOMEBODY had to buy a new Gaurdian this morning.......Ya don't know who that could have been do ya???? Did Tom break all 9 birds at the second show? He could only get 8 at the first one.....

No, we didn't win, we lost 18 - 17.......BUT, we didn't give it away, they earned it. We just got beat, plain and simple. But it was fun. It's cool to see those youngsters improve and having a good time.


John's pretty easy to get along with. Even dad mentioned as much...LOL, he was a little.....hesitant when I told him how I met ya though.....We are definetly gonna shoot some 3D, heck, I might even let you beat me...[&:]

And yes, I hope we get the chance to chase some whitetails this fall as well. I wouldn't mind shootin that biggun you got running around for you, I know he's got to be a nuisance, eating all your flowers and such....

Buckeye, you go ahead and hold your breath....Would be kind of funny to see you turn blue.....

Oh, and I just noticed your signature change......I like this one MUCH better.....

Jmbuckhunter, you poor thing. LOL. I've met Don myself and he's a great guy to spend some time with shooting and such.

Congrats on the gaurdian too JM, jumping ship from Mathews are we?

Yeah, Mathews didn't give be a bow for free, so I don't owe them anything. I shot the new Drenalin and Cardiac too. Just thought the Guardian was the smoothest shooter, you don't even feel the shot go off. Now I gotta get it dialed in.

I'm planinng on meeting alot more at the June Get Together , it's going to be a blast hope to see you there.

Hey, if Mobow can BS as good as he takes a ribbing, then im sure he is fun to be around [8D]Was hoping to meet you guys at the Ill. deer and turkey classic but it did not happen. oh i thought he was gnna be like 6' 6" heck i only got an inch to go and i am only 15[8D] Id like to meet mobow he seems like a guy you would want to know ( only becasue you could beat him deer huntin every year JK LOL) he takes teh ribbing and is very knowledgeable about bows i coud learn athing or two from him ( about bows of course JK again)
