Kudos to Autumn Sky Outfitters....
Today I met up with davepjr71 to check out a local archery shop.
Both Dave and I have heard rave reviews from various archers about their service and prices.
The name of the shop is Autumn Sky Outfitters and itis located in Street, MD (30 minutes or so North of Baltimore). They are a Hoyt and Bowtech dealer. Along with compound bows, they sell crossbows, kayaks and other various outdoor equipment.
It is a simple shop with a main sales floor, a fletching room, a service room and a shooting room (which included a video shooting area as well).
The customer service was very good consisting of un-biased, friendly staff. Their shooting room consists of 8-10 lanes of 20 yd or less.
InJuly, they remove the kayaks and double their archery gear section until the end of the archery season.
While at the shop, Dave and I made use of their chrono, paper tuning rig and shooting room.
Overall this shop is worth the trip to check out. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best....I'll give it a 7 with the potential of becoming an 8 in July. It's a nice small town shop that is a good place to visit to avoid the crowds typically found on the weekends at other archery shops.

RE: Kudos to Autumn Sky Outfitters....
I think this is the shop DaveH bought his bow from. I visited it with Dave last year while hunting with him. Very nice shop. I can't render an opinion on thier expertize as I only picked up some broadheads but it seemed like a very capable shop from what I saw if this is the same shop.

I had just center shot and paper tuned my bow the weekend beforeat LAS. This was my first 3 arrows down range since then.
I worked on my sights after that. I am still not happy with a few things on my setup. I have some time to putz before season begins.
