Wax takes care of it.
Here's a thought I just had about this.......Other than being annoying, does it affect anything?? I mean, I know eventually they will come all the way out.....But other than that??

Heres what you can do, and I do this with my broadheads as well. Take some string wax and coat the threads with the wax. This will not only ensure that the do not come loose but also protects the inserts as well and keeps them from becoming corroded. They may come lose from time to time but very seldom do I have to tighten them.

Sounds typical. Mine always come loose as well, I always check them while walking back from target. I will probably try some permanent tightening with pliars, b/c sometimes it is annoying.

I used to have this same problem...I used to use the Saunders field points but after I switched to the Gold tip points I rarely/never have this problem, also the retrieval of arrows is much more easy...
I am agains the use of wax because the point will still get loose from time to time and when this happens, the wax is a magnet for the dirt from the target...use plumber's teflon tape, the white thin one, and you wont have problems... also I picked up this one from an old timer...use a little of regular yarn/thread (you can ask you wife for this), and tight a small piece between the treads of the field point, this will give the same effect of the tefflon tape...
